Course Requirements

To attain the BSB61015 Advanced Diploma of Leadership and Management, 12 units must be successfully completed comprising of 4 core and 8 elective units.

Qualification Pathway

After achieving this qualification candidates may choose to undertake studies at a higher education level.

Entry Requirements

Students must have obtained a minimum of a Higher School Certificate or equivalent and have vocational experience in a range of work environments in senior management roles.

Students must be in a leadership & management role with access to workplace equipment and resources as evidence to be gathered for this course should demonstrate student’s consistent performance of activities experienced in the industry.

Students will need to be able to access and use a personal computer including internet connection, word processing and spreadsheet processing software, for example MS Word and Excel.

Kirana’s student selection process is designed to ensure that you are enrolled in the qualification that best meets your needs.

Kirana’s selection criteria will take into account various factors when deciding upon which students will be offered places in the program including;

  • The students’ needs and desired outcomes
  • The ability and commitment of the students to complete the course;
  • Eligibility requirements listed in the applicable National Training Package;
  • Students existing ability in the ACSF core skills, (learning, reading, writing, oral communication and numeracy)

Students not meeting these requirements will be directed to more suitable qualifications or skill development programs.

Important Information for existing students with VET FEE-HELP loans

The Commonwealth Government’s VET FEE-HELP loan scheme still applies for any student that commenced study before 31 December 2016. For our existing students there are arrangements for you to continue with your course. If you’re an existing Kirana Colleges student with a VET FEE-HELP loan, you can expect to receive if you have not already, an email or letter from the commonwealth government. You should have also received information from Kirana Colleges confirming the steps you will need to take to continue studying. This correspondence will ask you to ‘opt-in’ to continue to study under the current VET FEE-HELP scheme. It’s important you respond by undertaking all actions mentioned, so there are no delays to your ongoing enrolment. If you’re an existing student, the VET FEE-HELP opt-in steps, allowing you to continue your studies, can be found here. Alternatively contact us through the Student Help Form.

This qualification can be offered to eligible students, all or in part, through VET FEE-HELP, a national Australian commonwealth loan scheme to help you get your studies started now and repayment of the loan once you earn to the compulsory repayment threshold.
