Three Reasons To Begin A Career As A Legal Receptionist

If you are interested in the law, a career as a Legal Receptionist is a great way to break into the field and get your foot in the door of a law firm. Legal receptionists work at the front desk of law firms, greeting clients and visitors, answering calls and networking with all levels of personnel within the law firm. They are often the first person a client or visitor interacts with and acts as a spokesperson for the firm. Here are just three reasons you will love to begin a career as a Legal Receptionist.

  • Customer interaction; do you love working with people? As the face of a law firm, a legal receptionist gets to be the first point of contact for both clients and visitors to a law firm. Your positive attitude and professional look will greatly benefit in this field.
  • Salary and benefits; as law firms operate to a high standard, many law firms offer competitive rates for their salaries. There are also often many benefits you can take advantage of, including health discounts, staff social events and bonuses.
  • Opportunities to advance; if you love the law and are looking to advance in your career, a starting position as a legal receptionist offers you that options. Legal receptionists are often promoted within the law firm to other positions, such as legal secretary or paralegal.
